Kanban is an approach to software development with its roots in Lean Thinking. In it’s simplest form it can be described as visualizing work, limiting work in process (WIP) and monitoring the flow. But what does this mean in practice? This practical introduction to Kanban is focused on, but not limited to, the day-to-day activities of a team and let you get started right away, regardless of what methodology you use today.
Using over 100 pictures of Kanban boards, it gives advice on topics such as:

How do we decide on and use WIP limits?
What should we visualize and how?
What is the focus of daily stand-ups in Kanban?
How do we monitor flow and identify and eliminate bottlenecks?
