Agile Prague Concept

Agile Prague Conference - the first Agile conference in the heart of Europe

Organizing conference is not easy. It’s a lot of work and commitment you have to invest into the event so it becomes great. It requests a passion for the subject, and as anything, you need to get a good vision. We are very fortunate to have both. We want to bring the world top Agile experts to the Czech Republic and through their experience and innovative ideas, make Agile more relevant, known and used. We want to help Agile community grow and be successful with Agile implementations. We want to bring more fun to the workspace and support people in their Agile journey.

From the beginning, we gave the biggest importance to four key elements:

  • Invite real Agile leaders and innovators
  • Support new frameworks, and creative solutions
  • Keep diversity and bring a right mixture of talks, workshops, and case-studies
  • Create family atmosphere with strong focus on the networking possibilities

Having that said, we don’t want to grow anymore. We want to keep this mid-size event (up to 350 people) small enough so you can meet each other without making an appointment, and reach to our speakers and get a coffee with them during breaks without the need of prior arrangements. Last few years we’ve been sold out, but we truly believe that the size is just perfect for such event.

Our passion for Agile is one of the key reasons why we have so exceptional speakers in our program. We travel and speak at many conferences per year and actively search for great speakers. Most of the people coming to Agile Prague conference are our friends and colleagues. Therefore, we’ve been able to attract great speakers who otherwise rarely join local conferences.

In 2017, we run already the 7th season of Agile Prague Conference, the past years we had as our guests many great speakers – for example Jurgen Appelo, David Hussman, J.B. Rainsberger, Christopher Avery, Pat Guariglia, Linda Rising, Dean Leffingwell, Bas Vodde, Joshua Kerievsky, Gojko Adzic, Mark C. Layton, David Laribee, Alan Brown, Chris Matts, Scott Barber, Cliff Hazell, Jutta Eckstein, Vasco Duarte, Woody L. Zuill, Jurgen De Smet, and many more.

We are getting more and more proposals every year and we are happy that people from the Czech Agile community and companies who implemented Agile are supporting us. The case-studies are the great way how to present your success, promote what you achieved.

Agile Prague has always the great atmosphere, community, and networking. We would like to thanks all attendees because, without you, we would never be able to make such a great event. We want to thank our speakers that they bring their ideas and make the conference the best. We want to thanks our sponsors and partner who support Agile Prague every year. We really appreciate it. Looking forward to see you during the next Agile Prague Conference. Help us to spread the word around, recommend us to your friends, colleagues, and organizations.

Looking forward to see you again!
